- National Senior Certificate: English Level 4, Life Sciences Level 4, Mathematics Level 4 or Mathematical Literacy Level 5, and an APS of at least 27 (Life Orientation counts as half).
- National Certificate Vocational in Primary Health: Minimum 50 % in English FAL, Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy and Life Orientation; plus at least 60 % in each vocational subject (South African Health Care System, Public Health, The Human Body and Mind, Community‑Oriented Primary Care).
- Current Grade 12 learners: May apply using Grade 11 results, provided they meet the same subject levels and APS as the NSC route.
