Tips to improve your chances
- Make sure your average is 65 % or higher and that you are on track to finish within the normal study period.
- Proofread your application – typos can be seen as carelessness.
- Attach clear, legible copies of all documents.
- Highlight any projects, internships or extra‑curricular activities that show problem‑solving, curiosity and teamwork.
- Prepare for possible interviews or psychometric tests by practising common questions.
Next steps
Apply early to give yourself time to gather documents and double‑check everything. If you do not hear back within three months after the closing date, you can assume the application was unsuccessful.
Successful candidates will sign a bursary agreement that outlines annual renewal criteria and a work‑back obligation to Capitec after graduation.
Good luck – this could be the financial boost you need to start a career in South Africa’s growing financial services sector.
