The Women’s Empowerment Network of South Africa (WENOSA) is offering a limited‑time scholarship that could cover the rest of your tuition for 2026. The deadline is fast‑approaching – you have until 31 August 2026, 23:59, to apply.
What the scholarship is
WENOSA will award 25 scholarships to final‑year students – 10 for undergraduate studies and 15 for postgraduate studies. Each award can be worth up to R50 000 and will be paid straight to the university to clear outstanding tuition fees.

Preference is given to students in sectors that South Africa needs for its critical‑skills economy. These include:

- Mathematics, Statistics, Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences
- Accounting, Chartered Accountancy, Economics, Financial Sciences
- Agriculture, Mining, Energy, Logistics
- Research and Innovation
What you gain
The scholarship can cover up to R50 000 of your outstanding tuition fees. It does not provide cash, accommodation, textbooks, or living expenses. If your fee balance is lower than the award, the remaining amount may be re‑allocated to another qualifying student.
