Bayport Financial Services is looking for fresh, unemployed South African teenagers to join our 2025 Learner Programmes.
If you’re between 18 and 35, a South African citizen, and not currently studying, we can give you real work experience in the world of finance. In JHB North, Gauteng, you’ll spend 9 to 12 months learning, earning a stipend or salary, and helping people who need financial support. The two options are the Affordability Review Learner Programme and the Customer Services Learner Programme.
Affordability Review Learner Programme 2025

What you’ll do
As an Affordability Review Learner you’ll check loan applications to make sure they are complete and accurate. You’ll compare each application with Bayport’s rules and check if the person can truly afford the loan. Think of it as being a detective who looks for missing pieces and double‑checks details so the loan can be approved safely.
What we need from you

Why this matters
The Affordability Review role is essential. If we make a loan and the borrower can’t pay it back, the whole system loses money and the borrower suffers. By learning to spot these problems, you help keep the financial system fair and safe for everyone.
