What the opportunity is
The programme mixes classroom lessons with on‑the‑job training at a Clicks store. After you finish, you will earn an NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator qualification. The training is offered in Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Durban (KwaZulu‑Natal).
Who can apply
You must meet all of the following:
- South African citizen
- Age 18‑29
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Currently unemployed
- Not enrolled in another learnership or skills programme
- Good communication and teamwork skills
What you will gain
During the 6‑month programme you will learn:
- Customer‑service basics
- How to operate a checkout and POS system
- Payment processing and cash handling
- Retail store procedures and safety
- Teamwork and communication in a busy environment
On successful completion you receive a formal NQF Level 2 occupational qualification.
