What the bursary is
The Momentum Group is offering a bursary for students who are already studying actuarial science at an accredited South African university. The programme runs from the start of the 2027 academic year until you graduate.
It includes full tuition, registration fees, textbooks, and, where needed, accommodation, meals and travel allowances. You will also receive mentorship, vacation work, networking chances and career‑development support.
Who can apply
To be eligible you must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be enrolled at an accredited South African university in one of these courses:
- Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science
- Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science
- Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science
- Bachelor of Science in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics
- Have successfully completed your first year of actuarial studies.
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 70%.
- Not receive another bursary for the 2027 year.
- Be willing to work for Momentum Group after graduation.
