Internships closing July 2026: City Power, Inxuba Yethemba, TUT & ATNS

South Africa needs fresh talent now, and four paid internship programmes are closing between 24 July and 28 July 2026. City Power Johannesburg is one of the organisations offering a spot, so read on and act quickly.

What the opportunity includes

Four separate programmes are available across Gauteng and the Eastern Cape. They cover Electrical Engineering, ICT & Registry work, Counselling Psychology and a Graduate‑in‑Training track in air‑traffic services. All are open to unemployed South African graduates or postgraduate students.

Who can apply

• City Power EWSETA Electrical Engineering Internship – NQF Level 7 or 8 in Electrical Engineering, age < 35, South African citizenship. 120 places for a 24‑month placement in Johannesburg. Closing 24 July 2026, 12:00.
• Inxuba Yethemba Municipality ICT & Registry Internship – Graduate in ICT, Records Management or related field. Positions in Cradock or Middelburg, Eastern Cape. Stipend R5 000 per month. Closing 24 July 2026.
• TUT Counselling Psychology Internship 2027 – Must be registered for a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at a recognised university. Three 12‑month posts at Pretoria West Campus, starting 2 January 2027. Closing 28 July 2026.
• ATNS Graduate‑in‑Training Programme – South African graduate in a discipline accepted by ATNS (see full advert). Five posts in Bedfordview, Bruma and Johannesburg, Gauteng. Closing 28 July 2026.
