What is the learnership?
This is a 12‑month, work‑based learning programme that blends classroom theory with hands‑on experience in long‑term insurance. You will study through an accredited provider while earning a monthly stipend and gaining a recognised qualification.
Who can apply?
To be eligible you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a Grade 12/Matric certificate
- Have taken English and either Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy or Accounting at Matric
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Not have completed another learnership
- Not be currently enrolled at a university, college or other study programme
- Have reliable transport and good communication skills
- Be able to work independently and show initiative
Additional assets (not mandatory) include a smartphone or laptop, basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and the ability to use email and the internet.
