What the internship is
The ETDP‑SETA Internship / Work Integrated Learning Programme 2026 is run by Goldfields TVET College in the Free State. It is open to unemployed South African graduates who have never taken part in an internship or work‑integrated learning (WIL) programme before. Five paid posts are available and all participants receive a monthly stipend (the exact amount is not disclosed).

1. Junior Research Officer (1 post)
- Degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Education or a related field with a research focus.
- Basic knowledge of research methods, data analysis and policy development.
2. Website Development Officer (1 post)
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, web development, database design, website maintenance and hosting.
3. Occupational Health and Safety Officer (1 post)
- Diploma or degree in Health and Safety Management.
- Interest in workplace safety systems and compliance.
4. Junior IT Officer (1 post)
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Willingness to work on ICT support, systems administration and technology services.
5. SCM / Provisioning Clerk (1 post)
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Logistics or Procurement.
- Eagerness to learn about procurement, inventory and public‑sector supply chain operations.
