NEMISA Digital Ambassador Vacancies 2026 – Apply by 22 June

Ready to put your computer skills to work and help neighbourhoods get online? The National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa is urgently looking for 32 Digital Ambassadors to start the Ya Rona Digital Programme 2026, and the deadline is only a few weeks away.

What the opportunity is

NEMISA will place Digital Ambassadors on selected TVET College campuses across South Africa. You will receive a monthly stipend of R4 500 while you train yourself on basic digital‑literacy modules and then teach community members how to use computers, the internet and common software.

Who can apply (requirements and eligibility)

To be considered you must:

  • Have Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Be computer‑literate (internet, email, Microsoft Office, online platforms).
  • Possess at least 1–2 years of work experience in any field.
  • Be bilingual in English and any other South African language.
  • Be able to travel to one of the listed TVET College campuses (see placement list below).

Additional qualifications that will give you an edge include:

  • National Certificate Vocational (NCV Level 4) or N6.
  • ICT‑related certificates, digital or facilitation training.
  • Diploma or degree in ICT, Education or a related area.
  • Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, facilitation or community development.
