What the opportunity is
Umzimvubu Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape is offering students a short‑term placement inside the municipality. The aim is to give you hands‑on practice before you finish your qualification.
Who can apply
You are eligible if you meet all of the following:
- You are studying at a recognised higher‑education institution.
- You still need Work Integrated Learning or In‑Service Training to complete your qualification.
- You have finished all theory modules.
- You can provide a signed letter from your institution confirming the need for this training.
- You live in the Umzimvubu jurisdiction – Mount Frere, KwaBhaca, Mount Ayliff or eMaxesibeni.
- You can attach proof of residence issued by a Ward Councillor.
