South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is accepting applications for its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme 2026. The closing date is 29 May 2026, so you need to act quickly.

What the opportunity is

SASSA is offering TVET College learners practical workplace exposure at its Regional Office in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The programme runs in 2026 and is designed to help you complete your qualification with real‑world experience.

Who can apply – eligibility

  • Current TVET learner who has finished N6 (National Certificate) theory.
  • You need workplace exposure to finish a National Diploma.
  • You are interested in a career in the public sector.
  • Any South African citizen – preferences are given to persons with disabilities and to all racial groups in line with SASSA’s Employment‑Equity policy.

Fraud and Risk Management (2 posts)

  • Reference: SAS NC26/05/04
  • Required N6 qualification or statement of results in:
    • Risk Management
    • Internal Audit
    • Policing

Communications and Marketing (2 posts)

  • Reference: SAS NC26/05/05
  • Required N6 qualification or statement of results in:
    • Public Relations
    • Media Studies

Customer Care (1 post)

  • Reference: SAS NC26/05/06
  • Required N6 qualification or statement of results in:
    • Public Management
    • Public Administration
