Stefanutti Stocks Coastal is looking for South African white‑collar graduates and students who want to start their careers in Durban, KwaZulu‑Natal. The company is launching its Internship Programme 2025, a three‑month position that lets you learn what life on a construction site is really like.
Key dates and details:
- Apply by: 29 October 2025
- Place: Durban, KwaZulu‑Natal, South Africa
- Fields of focus: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying
What the Internship Looks Like
The program gives you a chance to jump into the day‑to‑day work at a real construction company. You will see how projects are managed from start to finish, meet the people who keep the job moving, and learn the computer tools that make surveying and engineering easier. The role is built so you can visit several parts of the company – from the office where plans are drawn to the field where bridges and buildings are built. This range helps you understand every piece of the workflow.
Inside the team, you’ll be asked to help with real tasks like checking measurements, drawing up simple plans, and keeping records up to date. Your supervisors will walk you through all safety rules and basic procedures, so you finish the internship knowing what it means to work safely and responsibly on a big site.
What You’ll Receive
If you sign on for the internship you’ll get:
- Guidance from people who have lived in the field for years, giving you insight into everyday work.
- A sense of what a whole construction team does, from the planning stage all the way to the final inspection.
- Time spend in several different job areas so you can test which part feels the most interesting.
- Regular check‑ins with a mentor who will help you think through problem scenarios and suggest ways to solve them.
- A salary that matches the role, plus extras like transport support and access to company events.
- At the end of the program, the chance to stay on board if you finish well.
