What’s on offer

Western TVET College has several short‑term vacancies across its Gauteng campuses (Carletonville, Krugersdorp, Randfontein, Westonaria). There are two groups of positions:

• External Invigilators – supervise exam sessions.
• Tutors (Business & Engineering) – support learning in specific subjects.

Who can apply

External Invigilators

• Matric or Grade 12 certificate.
• N6 or National N Diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Unemployed, retired or a former teacher/lecturer.
• Physically able to stand and walk during exams.
• Clean criminal record and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
• Not currently in a learnership or internship.
• Western TVET (WESTCOL) graduates are preferred.

Tutor Positions

• Passed all relevant subjects with at least 60 % average.
• Former student of the college and currently unemployed.
• Good communication and facilitation skills.
• Computer literacy related to the subject you will teach.

External Invigilators (apply by 04 May 2026 15:00)

1. Download the Z83 form from the college’s website.
2. Fill in the form and attach a current CV, certified ID copy, and certified Matric/NCV Level 4 certificate.
3. Write the correct reference number on your envelope:
   • Carletonville Campus – Ref: CV/INV/01
   • Krugersdorp Central Campus – Ref: KC/INV/02
4. Send the package to:

   or hand‑deliver it to the same address.

Tutor Positions (apply by 07 May 2026 12:00)

1. Download the Project Form from the college’s website.
2. Complete the form and gather the same supporting documents as above.
3. Submit the completed form and documents at any SSS Office on the following campuses:
   • Carletonville
   • Krugersdorp Central
   • Krugersdorp West
   • Westonaria
   • Randfontein
