What’s on offer
Western TVET College has several short‑term vacancies across its Gauteng campuses (Carletonville, Krugersdorp, Randfontein, Westonaria). There are two groups of positions:
- External Invigilators – supervise exam sessions.
- Tutors (Business & Engineering) – support learning in specific subjects.
Who can apply
External Invigilators
- Matric or Grade 12 certificate.
- N6 or National N Diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Unemployed, retired or a former teacher/lecturer.
- Physically able to stand and walk during exams.
- Clean criminal record and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Not currently in a learnership or internship.
- Western TVET (WESTCOL) graduates are preferred.
Tutor Positions
- Passed all relevant subjects with at least 60 % average.
- Former student of the college and currently unemployed.
- Good communication and facilitation skills.
- Computer literacy related to the subject you will teach.

- Download the Z83 form from the college’s website.
- Fill in the form and attach a current CV, certified ID copy, and certified Matric/NCV Level 4 certificate.
- Write the correct reference number on your envelope:

- Krugersdorp Central Campus – Ref: KC/INV/02

- Download the Project Form from the college’s website.

- Westonaria
