What the internship is
The Marketing Internship Programme 2026 is run by the Client Services department of Joburg City Theatres in Johannesburg. It runs for 12 months and pays a monthly stipend of R6 094.25. The closing date for applications is 12 May 2026.
Who can apply
To be eligible you must meet all of the following:
- South African citizen
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Hold a qualification in Digital Marketing, Communications, or Social Media Marketing from a recognised institution
- Be currently unemployed and looking for workplace experience
What you will gain
The internship gives you hands‑on exposure to real theatre marketing campaigns. You will build a professional portfolio and develop skills that are valuable in many sectors.

- Help create marketing campaigns for productions
