What the apprenticeship offers
The Gibela Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2026 is a 12‑month structured training package. You will work inside a real train‑manufacturing environment and receive both classroom instruction and hands‑on practice.
Who can apply
To be eligible you need:
- An N2 qualification in a relevant engineering subject
- Good technical aptitude and basic engineering knowledge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn in a production setting
Having any workshop or practical experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Welding
- Boilermaking
