GEPF GEPFuture Internship 2026 – Finance & Risk, Apply by 26 April

South Africa needs fresh talent in finance and risk now, and the GEPFuture Internship Programme offers a paid entry point for unemployed graduates before the 26 April 2026 deadline.

What the internship is

The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) will run a structured internship from 01 June 2026 to 31 March 2028. It is based in Centurion, Gauteng, and focuses on finance and risk‑management functions within one of the country’s biggest pension funds.

Who can apply

  • South African citizens, aged 18‑35
  • Holder of a 3‑year Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in a relevant field
  • Minimum average: 60 % (undergraduate) or 55 % (post‑graduate, if applicable) – show this on your CV
  • Do not have previous internship or formal work experience in the same area
  • Do not apply if you are still studying for the qualification
  • Preference is given to candidates with disabilities and graduates from historically disadvantaged institutions

Finance Intern

  • Required qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or Advanced Diploma in Accounting (NQF Level 7)

Risk Management Intern

  • Required qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Risk Management or Internal Auditing (NQF Level 7)
