What the 2026 Bursary Programme Is
The AGSA and Solarpop team want bright students from South Africa to get a financial boost for university or college. Instead of just money, the bursary shows a shared promise to help education grow and make sure nobody is left out because of money. Who Can Apply?
If you fit one of these rules, you should apply:
- Age: 18‑35 years old.
- Background: African, coloured, or Indian (gender does not matter).
- Student status: Already registered at a recognised South African university or college.
The goal is to lift up people from under‑represented groups and remove the cost barrier to higher study.
Documents You Need to Send
A complete application matters. Gather these:
- Latest CV (easy résumé).
- Copy of your ID that is not older than 6 months.
- Certified copy of your matric certificate (earned within the last 6 months).
- Proof that you are registered at a recognised institution.
- Your most recent school/college transcript.
- The latest financial statement from your institution (shows you’re still studying).
- If you have a disability, a medical certificate that explains it.
Missing or wrong documents mean your application will not be considered.
