Triton Express Invites Motivated South African Youth to Join the 2025 / 2026 Freight Handling Learnership. The application deadline is open – apply now.
What Is the Triton Express Learnership?
Triton Express, a proud part of Plennegy (Pty) Ltd, has created a 12‑month learning program that blends classroom lessons with real‑world work. The goal is to give young people the skills and certificate they need to jumpstart a career in logistics, warehousing and freight transport in South Africa.
The program is called the National Certificate in Freight Handling (NQF Level 3). It is certified by the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) – the same body that supplies standards for driving and transport schools.
Why This Learnership Is a Good Choice
- Real‑world experience – You’ll spend half the time in a warehouse and half in a classroom.
- Earn while you learn – A monthly stipend of R4,000 is paid throughout the 12 months.
- Clear career path – After finishing, you’ll hold a nationally recognized certificate that opens doors in shipping, trucking, and logistics companies.
- Youth‑focused – The program keeps a strong focus on supplying jobs for unemployed South African talent.
