The course is delivered by the Limpopo Province College of Nursing at four campuses: Giyani, Sovenga, Thohoyandou, and Sekhukhune.
Training follows Regulation R.171 of the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
After finishing, you will receive an accredited diploma that lets you register with SANC for general nursing practice.
Admission Requirements
To be considered you must meet these criteria:
Education:
- Senior Certificate with endorsement (Matric Exemption) or National Senior Certificate – Bachelor’s Degree Pass.
- Minimum 24 points on the rating scale (life orientation points excluded).
Compulsory Subjects (Grade 4):
- English (HG E)
- Biology/Life Sciences (HG E)
- Physical Sciences (HG E)
- Mathematics (HG E)
- Maths Literacy (Level 5)
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
