Bell Equipment is looking for South African youth who don’t have jobs right now. If you finished Grade 12 and want to learn a trade, you can join their Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2026. The apprentices will work mainly in the Bell Richards Bay Factory and at the customer service centres in KwaZulu‑Natal. The program starts soon and you have to sign up before 20 February 2026.

    • Requirements

      • Pass a Technical Assessment that tests math and reading.
      • Be in good health (you’ll need a medical check).
      • Hold a Code B / Code 08 driver’s licence.
      • Live within 50 km of the Richards Bay Factory.

      • NCV Level 4 Electrical Infrastructure Construction (7 subjects)
      • Some engineering industry experience
      • Basic hand‑skills training
  2. Millwright

      • N2 Electrical Trade Theory
      • NCV Level 4 Electrical Infrastructure Construction
      • Some engineering industry exposure
      • Basic hand‑skills training
  3. Fitter & Turner

      • Grade 12 Mechanical Technology (Fitting & Machining)
      • N2 Fitting & Machining Theory
      • NCV Level 4 ERD (Fitting & Turning)
      • Some engineering industry experience
      • Basic hand‑skills training
  4. Boilermaker

    • Requirements (same as above)
    • Extra perks
      • Grade 12 Mechanical Technology (Welding)
      • N2 Platers / Boilermaker Theory
      • NCV Level 4 ERD (Welding)
      • Some engineering industry experience
      • Basic hand‑skills training

All the apprenticeships share a common theme: you’ll learn the trade in real workplaces, get a recognised certificate, and could move on to a full‑time role in engineering or manufacturing.
