This internship is a fixed‑term contract, so you’ll have a clear start and end date. The job is full time, which means you’ll be working the usual number of hours each week.
What You’ll Do
During the year you’ll rotate through several key areas of the bank:
- Fraud – learning how to spot and prevent fake activity.
- Risk – figuring out what could go wrong and how to reduce it.
- Operations – helping the bank run smoothly every day.
- Data Science – turning numbers into insights that guide decisions.
- Strategy & Change – planning big moves for the bank’s future.
You’ll see real business challenges and will be expected to produce tangible results for each project. The team will give you regular coaching and mentorship, so you’ll get advice from people who have been in the field for years.

Who Can Join
To qualify you should:
- Not be employed when you apply.

If you’re already working somewhere else, it’s not a hard requirement, but the role is designed for people who are just starting out.
Minimum Qualifications
You need a Level 7 or higher qualification from the National Qualifications Framework. This can be in any of the following subjects:
- Forensic Science & Technology or Criminology
- Risk Management
- BCom (General)
- Mathematics or Applied Mathematics
- Data Analytics or Data Science
- Strategy or Strategic Management
- BCom Informatics
- Project Management
- Business Analysis
If you have a job experience that lines up with any of these areas, that helps, but you don’t have to have a job before this internship.
