York Timbers Internships 2026 – Fresh Graduates Apply Today

York Timbers is calling all South African graduates who are not currently working to join its 2025/2026 Internship Experience Programme.
If you finished a diploma or university degree, are between 18 and 35 years old, and want to learn real job skills in forestry and related areas, this might be the perfect chance for you. The internship runs for one full year at York Timbers’ South Africa operations and will give you hands‑on experience, a mentor to guide you, and a chance to build a strong CV.

What the internship is all about

The program is a 12‑month work‑based learning plan that helps people move from school to the workplace. You will help out in different parts of the business, from people management to finance and logistics. The goal is to let you see how a big forestry company works and to give you practical skills that employers love. York Timbers will accept 11 interns each year, covering these fields:

  • Human Resources – 2 spots
  • Logistics – 1 spot
  • Administration – 1 spot
  • Finance – 3 spots
  • Agriculture – 2 spots
  • Fire & Road Management – 1 spot
  • Technical Security – 1 spot

The stipend and all other details will follow the company’s normal policy. You will get a fixed‑term contract that ends after one year.

Who can apply

You must meet these simple checks:

  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Be 18‑35 years old.
  • Hold South African citizenship.
  • Have a diploma or degree that matches one of the listed fields.
  • Be ready to commit to a full year of work.

York Timbers follows Employment Equity rules, so they will look at each applicant carefully to make sure the process is fair. Only complete applications that arrive on time will be reviewed.

How to put together your application

Send an email to Internships@york.co.za before 23 January 2026. Use a clear subject line that states the field you want, for example “Finance Internship Application”. Your email should contain:

  • The program is open to anyone who meets the age, citizenship, and education criteria.
  • We will only call those who are selected for an interview.
