Mpumalanga CET College 2026 Graduate Internship Opportunities

Looking for a way to jump‑start a career in finance, public management, human resources, or administration? Mpumalanga Community Education and Training College (CETC) is opening a 12‑month graduate internship for South African graduates who are still looking for work. The internship starts on 1 February 2026, ends on 31 January 2027, and is located at the college’s Central Office in Siyabuswa. You’ll earn a stipend of R6 000 every month while learning real skills on the job.

What the internship offers

This is more than a summer job. The program is designed to give you hands‑on experience inside a government office. You’ll be paired with a mentor who will help you learn the day‑to‑day tasks of the department you join. Whether you choose finance, academic services, corporate services, or the office of the principal, you’ll see how public institutions run and how decisions are made.

About Mpumalanga Community Education and Training College

CETC is a public college managed by the Department of Higher Education and Training. Its main purpose is to help people learn new skills, support adult learners, and open doors to further study or work. The college acts as a bridge for students and adults who want to move into employment, start their own businesses, or keep studying. Interns gain direct exposure to government work, which can be useful no matter if you later join the public or private sector.

Why this internship matters

South Africa has a high level of youth unemployment. Programs like this one help fill that gap by offering practical workplace experience. You’ll build professional skills, understand how an organization operates, and improve your chances of getting a job after you finish. With a monthly stipend and a full year of guided learning, this internship can serve as a solid launchpad for your future.
