ABSA 2026 Financial Adviser Learnerships – Apply Today

Start Your Finance Career with ABSA’s 12‑Month Learnership

ABSA Group Limited is looking for unemployed South African graduates to join a paid, one‑year training program called the 2026 Trainee Financial Adviser (FAIS) Learnership. This role is designed for people who want to start a career in the financial services world and who are ready to learn everything about advising clients, handling money safely, and working in a big bank. You’ll get a salary, on‑the‑job experience, classroom lessons and a chance to stay with ABSA after the program ends.

What the Learnership Looks Like

The program mixes classroom learning, real work in a bank branch or online, and mentorship from experienced advisers. You’ll study the rules that protect customers, practice selling financial products, and help people set money goals. Every day you’ll do real tasks that a financial adviser normally does – from talking to clients to preparing reports.

At the end of the 12 months, you’ll have a clear path to a full‑time job if you finish the training well.
