What You Need to Get Started
- Experience: You should have at least two years in HVAC or a related service role.
- Education: High school diploma with Math and/or Science, plus an N5 Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Nated qualification.
- Other requirements: A driver’s licence that is more than one year old, a clean criminal record, and the ability to travel to Paarl for six months of training every year for three years. You also need to be between 20 and 30 years old, pass a placement test, and attend a panel interview. Most importantly, you must be ready to commit to the full four‑year programme.
