- Need a diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering.
- You’ll help design processes that turn raw materials into useful products.
2. People and Organisation
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, Employment Relations or similar.
- You’ll support hiring, training, and employee well‑being.
3. Supply Chain Management
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Business Administration.
- You’ll manage the flow of supplies and help keep the operation running smoothly.
4. Communication
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Graphic Design.
- You’ll create content, manage social media, and keep the public informed.
5. Corporate Affairs & Sustainable Impact
- Diploma or degree in Social Sciences, Economics or Finance.
- You’ll look at how the company can grow responsibly and stay compliant with laws.
6. Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (levels N6, S3 or S4) and a requirement for practical learning.
- You’ll work on power systems and equipment maintenance.
7. Environmental Sciences / Management
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science or Management.
- Your job will be to protect local ecosystems and reduce waste.
8. Geology
- Diploma or degree in Geology.
- You’ll map the mineral deposits and help plan extraction.
9. Information Management
- Diploma or degree in Data Science, Information Science, Systems Engineering or IT.
- You’ll store and analyze data to help the company make better decisions.
10. Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (levels N6, S3 or S4) and a requirement for practical learning.
- You’ll maintain machinery and improve production lines.
11. Mine Planning
- Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering.
- You’ll design mine layouts and calculate the best way to extract resources.
12. Mining Engineering
- Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering.
- You’ll work on drilling, blasting and underground operations.
13. Occupational Hygiene
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Hygiene.
- You’ll monitor workplace health, especially air quality and chemical exposure.
14. Operational Risk Management

- You’ll identify risks and suggest ways to reduce them.
15. Rock Engineering
- Diploma or degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.
- You’ll study rock stability and help prevent collapse.
16. Safety Management
- Diploma or degree in Safety Management or Environmental Management.
- You’ll develop safety protocols and conduct inspections.
17. Survey
- Diploma or degree in Mine Surveying.
- You’ll measure and map mine sites accurately.
18. Ventilation
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Hygiene, Health Sciences or Mining Engineering.
- You’ll keep mine airflow safe and comfortable for workers.
Who Can Apply?
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must hold the relevant diploma or degree and have a strong academic record.
- You need to be able to talk clearly, work with others, and be eager to learn.
- People from host communities (Baphalane Ba Mantserre, Bakgatla Ba Kgafela, Baphalane Ba Ramokoka, Thabazimbi & Moses Kotane Municipality) will get special consideration.
